Kuki Chochin Matsuri "Tenno Sama" Saitama (July)

Kuki Chochin Matsuri “Tenno Sama” has a history of around 230 years. The matsuri is held every year from July 12th to 18th, regardless of the day of the week. The dashi (floats) are paraded around the town on July 12th and 18th. Each dashi presents two performances. In the daytime, the dashi are decorated with dolls and sculptures, and at night, they are adorned with around 500 lanterns.
